Why should I register?
What should I expect?
Who’s speaking?
Heading out in the work of work after completing your undergraduate degree can be an intimidating experience, but you’re not alone on that journey. You have an entire FIMS community out there who have been blazing trails ahead of you. At the Career Conference you will hear from extraordinary alumni who are ready to share their career stories and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
This event is created BY students FOR students, with generous funding through the Undergraduate Student Fund (USF).
After going virtual for a couple of years, we’re excited to be once again able to offer in-person programming. At the Career Conference you can expect:
- Amazing (dare we say life changing?) advice and insights from our alumni speakers
- A chance to mingle with alumni and friends over snacks and games
- Tangible career advice, tips, new skills and great ideas
To kick off the conference, Mike Bickerton (BA’01) will give the keynote talk to the whole group. Hear about how Mike got to where he is now and find some inspiration. Check out his bio below.
Breakout sessions led by alumni will happen between 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., so attendees will have a chance to hear from people currently working in the industries you’re most interested in.
