What role do you want? Level up and get your game on as you head out into the job market after graduation. Know your strengths: are you a warrior, a wizard, a ranger, or a cleric? Pick your path based on your attributes and upgrade, upgrade, upgrade! And don’t forget to have fun too.

Would it help to hear from people who already know some Easter eggs and cheat codes?  The 8th annual FIMS Career Conference is set to introduce you to some FIMS alumni who have already begun their quests and faced challenges. And they can’t wait to share their experiences with YOU.

Heading out into the world of work after completing your undergraduate degree can be an intimidating experience, but you’re not alone on that journey. You have an entire FIMS community out there who have been blazing trails ahead of you. At the Career Conference you will hear from extraordinary alumni who are ready to share their career stories and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

This event is created BY students FOR students, with generous funding through the Undergraduate Student Fund (USF).

This full day, in-person event will keep you busy imagining possibilities. At the Career Conference you can expect:

Amazing (dare we say life changing?) advice and insights from our alumni speakers
A chance to mingle with alumni and friends over snacks and games
Tangible career advice, tips, new skills and great ideas
A networking dinner with great food and even better company (yes, the alumni are staying too!)

To kick off the day, the Career Conference always starts with a keynote address from a FIMS alum. This year our keynote speaker will be Alessia Grosso, Senior Vice-President, Communications Strategy at Havas Media Network (BA Hons, MIT).

Other FIMS alumni working in a variety of industries will lead the breakout sessions. The schedule is set up to allow you to attend the presentations that most interest you!
